Type T Media founder Susan Schnier is the former website production manager at Smith + Jones advertising and marketing agency in Incline Village, Nevada.
Also a freelance writer, Susan writes sports, travel and health stories for publications like Skiing Magazine, Ski Press Magazine, Golf Week Magazine, Couloir Magazine and Moonshine Ink. To get an idea of Susan’s writing, check out her clips.
Born in Manhattan, Susan graduated from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire’s Green Mountains. She moved to Truckee, California in 2000 and spent three years as the Managing Editor and Webmaster of Couloir Magazine, a backcountry ski and snowboarding publication.
An avid skier, Susan loves the mountains and the outdoors. When she’s not behind the computer, she’s usually skiing at Squaw Valley, exploring the surrounding mountains or traveling. The Internet, writing and skiing are integral parts of her life, so ski/sports journalism and web design are careers as well as passions.
